Masked editing, also called inpainting, changes only the area you select and leaves everything else untouched. Maskless editing applies your instruction to the whole image, which suits global changes such as lighting, weather or overall style.

Can I change one material without changing the rest of the render?

Yes. Select the surface with a rectangle or lasso mask and describe the new material. Only the masked area is regenerated, so the composition and the rest of the scene stay the same.

Can I use AI to virtually stage an empty room?
